Next year’s Super 14 rugby draw seems to have been received favourably by all the New Zealand teams.

Some of the teams have nailed seven home games, the others, six. Rather bizarrely the schedule has been released without the Chiefs and Hurricanes confirming where they will play their home games.

The Crusaders have drawn a favourable schedule with six games at home in Christchurch and a seventh in Timaru.

Coach Robbie Deans says his side has had some tough draws in the past, but next year looks pretty good. Deans says they are on the right end of the home and away fixtures… that is overdue. He says his side enjoys playing around the province so it is great Timaru is set to host a game.
