The Round-robin matches of the Super 14 have been completed for 2008 and the Semi-finalists have been confirmed.

The Crusaders (1st) will host the Hurricanes (4th) at the AMI Stadium in Chirstchurch and the Waratahs (2nd) will host the Sharks (3rd) in Sydney at the Sydney Football Stadium next weekend.

Strangely the Crusaders and Hurricanes will both go into their game coming off losses as the Crusaders were beaten 26-14 by the Highlanders in Christchurch while the Blues beat the Hurricanes in Auckland.

The Waratahs and Sharks will go into the second Semi-Final with both coming off wins.

As the Hurricanes came fourth they will not be eligible to host the final.

Should the Hurricanes beat the Crusaders in Christchurch the final will be at the home venue of the winner of the Waratahs vs the Sharks match.

If the Crusaders beat the Hurricanes the final will be at the AMI Stadium on the 31st of May 2008.

This means that the final of the 2008 Super 14 could be held in Christchurch, Sydney or Durban.
