The SANZAR judicial hearings for Lions player Ross Geldenhuys and Sharks player Epi Taione have been deferred until tomorrow.

Geldenhuys was cited for a knee strike in Friday night’s Rebel Sport Super 14 match between the Highlanders and the Lions at Carisbrook, Dunedin, on Friday night.

Taione faced an automatic judicial hearing after he was red carded for using his head to strike a Hurricanes player in the 64th minute of the Hurricanes ‘ Sharks match at Westpac Stadium, Wellington, on Saturday night.

Judicial Officer Nick Davidson QC said as a result of extensive evidence and submissions at the hearings, the findings would be deferred until tomorrow.
