Reds Super Rugby coach Brad Thorn says he was pleased with the way his team earned back to back wins but says they are still “a work in progress”.

The Reds beat the Brumbies last week and then backed it up by beating the Bulls this weekend.

The Reds delivered a gritty performance with strong defence and set-piece work laying the foundation for their first back-to-back win since 2014.

Reds head coach Brad Thorn said after the win: “It was good to back up last week’s effort with another win at home.”

“It wasn’t always pretty but we found a way to win. We’re a work in progress and we are quietly working away.

“It was a great night for Chris Feauai-Sautia to earn his 50th Queensland cap. We’re really proud of him. You could see how much it meant to him and his teammates.

“We’ve got a tough tour coming up, but we’ll keep working hard and see what we can make of it.”
