A lot of people around the world are looking forward to the start of the 2008 Super 14 and Anthony Tuitavake is one of them because he says that he is motivated by the possibility of an All Black start.

His efforts this year helped the Blues to a Semi-Final and that saw him picked for the Junior All Blacks but now he wants to go one better.

“I’m just looking forward to a bit of a fresh start,” he says on the RugbyHeaven website.

Tuitavake has risen through the national system from New Zealand under-19s, under-21s, Sevens and Junior All Blacks levels, says the chance to try to crack the All Blacks keeps him here and hugely motivated.

“Yeah, like most young kids who play rugby it (the All Blacks) is something I’ve dreamed of and it’s a dream I haven’t given up on,” he said.

“I just want to play well for the Blues.”

He could well be in with a good shot after Luke McAlister went north and the All Black mid-field has not been settled since Tana Umaga left but there is a long queue of contenders.
