Johannesburg’s Lions have brought back regular team captain Warren Whiteley for this Friday’s match against the Chiefs in the FMG Stadium in Waikato.
Whiteley returns from a seven week lay off after suffering a pectoralis major muscle tear in the match against the Stormers in Cape Town.
The Lions captain joined his team-mates on Sunday after passing a fitness test on Friday.
Rotation dictates several positions, like Gianni Lombard at ten, Ross Cronje at nine, Robbie Coetzee at hooker and Sylvian Mahuza at fullback.
