Whiteley to undergo fitness Test for Lions quarter final




Johannesburg’s Lions have confirmed a 25 man squad for their Super Rugby Quarter Final match and included regular captain Warren Whiteley.

The Lions finished the regular season in second place and will host the Crusaders in a quarter final on Saturday.

Lions captain Whiteley was injured playing for the Springboks against Ireland and was expected to miss the rest of the Super Rugby season.

However, Whiteley has made better progress than expected and y will undergo a fitness test on Thursday 21 July before the final call will be made on his availability.
